Job Description\n Voca Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVPICU for a local contract nursing job in Austin, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CVPICU\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Local Contract\n \n Pediatric CVICU RN – Travel Contract\n Unit: 24-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU + 12-bed overflow unit\n Hard Requirements:\n \n Minimum 18 months Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (Peds CVICU) experience\n BLS\n PALS\n ACLS\n \n Patient Ratios:\n \n 1:1–1:2 for ICU patients\n 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU patients in overflow\n \n Patient Population: Neonates through young adults, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.\n High-Acuity Experience: Congenital heart disease/defects, post-op cardiac repairs, heart failure, arrhythmias, heart transplant and VAD patients.\n About Voca Healthcare\n \n As a Voca Traveler, you will gain new clinical skills, visit amazing places and meet awesome healthcare professionals.\n As a travel health professional, your experience and dedication to patient care isin high demand throughout the United States.
