Join us.About the Team:The Reliability team at Relativity Space ensures quality is built into every stage of the Terran R design and production process, embedding reliability from the very beginning. The team works directly with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to stay close to the hardware, understand constraints, and proactively shape decisions. As the program moves from development into production and scaled operations, this is the time to establish the right processes, controls, and inspections without slowing progress. The team plays a key role in balancing risk, fostering a culture of ownership, and making sure speed never comes at the cost of reliability. Success means creating a quality system that scales with the Terran R program and Relativity as a whole.About the Role:Develop, implement, and improve the quality management system in alignment with customer expectations and applicable regulatory requirements, international standards, and industrial methodologiesPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other cross functional teams to ensure our defined processes are robust to drive mission success throughout the entire product lifecycleOwn Document Control system, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient management of controlled documents, records, and change control processesPlan and lead internal audits to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the QMSDirect and support root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action process to drive improvement of the management systemProvide training and guide cross-functional teams on quality systems continuous improvement initiativesMonitor and measure management system data and report to management to drive the system improvementAbout You:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related STEM field5+ years of experience in quality systems or quality engineering, familiar with QMS platforms and digital applications, preferably in aerospace In-depth working experience of AS9100 or ISO9001 requirements and principlesCertified QMS lead auditor (AS9100 preferred)Strong skills in document control, process mapping, and continuous improvementWillingness to travel up to 25% of the time At Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
