Research Science Manager

Description This leadership position manages a technical team within the Supportable Low Observables department, developing systems and maintenance processes to ensure RCS Signature management of aircraft after delivery to the operating customer. The role focuses on managing a multi‑site team of SLO engineers supporting Ft. Worth based F‑35 Zonal field measurement and ADP development activities as well as Palmdale based ADP programs. Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding program performance goals, developing and delivering program status and frequent performance briefings, presenting to senior management and customers, coordinating across all Signature Management and Survivability teams and onsite Modification Technical Teams, and collaborating with related programs to build consensus and comprehensive solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree RCS design, analysis, test and integration engineering development and execution experience Experience coordinating and leading large, cross‑functional engineering teams through development and sustainment programs Experience engaging and presenting in executive‑level meetings Secret security clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Skills 10 years of related aircraft signature reduction engineering experience Experience with 5th Generation signature management in sustainment using zonal measurement systems Classified system administration (CompTIA Security+) Experience leading cross‑functional teams Experience measuring RCS signatures Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance level: Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years. Schedule and Shift On‑site full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility in Ft.
