Certified Nurse Midwife - Women's Health

Position Certified Nurse Midwife Responsibilities Provide prenatal and postpartum care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. Obtain detailed and accurate history, perform appropriate physical examinations, identify problems, and interpret information to determine plans for OB/GYN patient care. Initiate and order diagnostic procedures, laboratories, radiology, fetal heart rate interpretation, and other studies as needed. Provide OB/GYN patient counseling and education. Prescribe medications and controlled substances permitted by Connecticut law. Document all aspects of OB/GYN visits, including date of service, chief complaint, history, social and family history, office course, diagnosis, therapeutic plan, medication reconciliation, and physical exam. Record the name of supervising physician for each visit. Order and administer injections, intravenous medications, and collect diagnostic fluids. Interpret Non‑Stress Test results and screen for postpartum depression. Assist and triage patients calling Summit Health with concerns. Participate in day/night, weekday/weekend call rotations at the affiliated hospital under supervision of a collaborating physician. Attend uncomplicated vaginal deliveries, assist on C‑sections, and manage antepartum/postpartum patient care. Provide on‑call coverage to the ER for obstetric/gynecologic emergencies. Compensation Competitive guaranteed salary with bonus incentives. Compensation Range: $118,000–$140,000. Location Westchester County, New York – located in the historic Hudson Valley, north of NYC.
