Assistant Driver

Responsibilities Partner with the agency driver to pick up food from local grocery stores and restaurants following a designated pick-up route Assist the driver with taking the temperature of and loading donated food into the agency van for transport back to the Hunger Resource Center (HRC) Help unload food from the van into the Hunger Resource Center and document the weight of food Store perishable food in walk-in coolers and freezers as needed Serve as an NVFS representative to the donating public with a warm demeanor, providing information as needed to both donor and NVFS staff Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift, load and unload boxes up to 50 pounds Must be a great team player Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Civic and Social Organizations and Non-profit Organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
