Becton Dickinson seeks a Territory Manager for its Interventional Surgery Division in Florida to drive sales of infection prevention and biosurgery products. The role involves managing a designated territory, educating healthcare providers on product use, achieving sales targets, and developing new customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Present and educate surgeons, OR staff, and hospital decision makers on proper product use and clinical benefits
- Provide on-site technical support during surgical procedures to ensure proper product application
- Develop new customer prospects and expand sales within assigned territory
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BD products, competitors, pricing, and distribution channels
- Meet territory sales and profitability goals while managing expense budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- 2-3 years of medical device or operating room sales experience
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work in operating room environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven track record of successful sales performance
- Willingness to travel approximately 80% of work time including overnight stays
