Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Mid Shift (12:00 PM – 12:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift, delivering care consistent with the nursing process and medical plan of care.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate patient care across all age groups.
• Incorporates patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care.
• Delegates appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• Prescribes and documents nursing care based on patient and family input, ensuring alignment with the medical plan of care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire.
• PALS (AHA) certification required at time of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire; demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• MICN and CEN certifications preferred.
