Role Description
This is a remote position. At Lone Star Lawyers, accuracy and efficiency are the backbone of our legal services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and maintaining essential legal documents and client information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our firm by ensuring data integrity and supporting our legal professionals with timely and precise information.
- Accurately input and update legal data and client records into our systems.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files to support legal operations.
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role, preferably within the legal services industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and document types is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable working with database software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office, legal management systems).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in data management or related fields is advantageous.
Requirements
- Enter and update case information, client details, and legal documents into the company database with high accuracy.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents and correcting any discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information at all times.
- Organize and manage electronic and paper files to support legal team workflows.
- Assist with preparing reports and summaries based on entered data when required.
- Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to streamline data entry processes.
- Identify and escalate data inconsistencies or issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
