Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Fort Worth, Texas. This inpatient rehabilitation position involves providing care to adult patients with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic needs. The role emphasizes rehabilitation-specific documentation and patient mobilization, with an opportunity to develop specialty skills in acute rehab settings. Job Details: Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, willingness to learn rehabilitation patient mobilization skills, willingness to complete rehabilitation-specific documentation, good attention to detail, and prior inpatient hospital experience. The candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical, stepdown critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation nursing. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic adult populations, inpatient acute rehabilitation, and long-term acute care nursing. Float: Float to medical-surgical units in rotation with unit staff. Additional Information: Unit has 18 beds with patient ratios of 5-6:1. Procedures on unit include urinary catheterizations, peripheral IV insertions, blood administration, wound dressing changes, surgical drain removal, suture/staple removal, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs with team-appropriate grooming, and compliance with PPE policies is required. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and concludes on 12/21/2026.
