DISHWASHER (FULL AND PART TIME)

Overview We have an opening for full and part time DISHWASHER positions at the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY. Online applications accepted only. Location Culinary Institute of America - 1946 Campus Drive, Hyde Park, NY 12538. Schedule Full and part time; Days and hours may vary. Night and weekend availability is required. More details upon interview. Requirements No previous experience is required. Willing to train. Pay $16.00 per hour to $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses the dishwashing machine as assigned; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polishes silver using appropriate equipment; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation. Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards; keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other prep surfaces. Removes trash and handles garbage disposal as directed. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and product. Performs other duties as assigned.
