This role ensures that every function runs smoothly, meets Hyatt standards, and reflects the warm hospitality and cultural spirit of Tamaya. Key Responsibilities Event Execution (Start to Finish) Oversee all event setups, service flow, and breakdowns according to EO specifications. Ensure event spaces are prepared accurately, on time, and in alignment with Hyatt Regency Tamaya standards. Monitor event progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Coordinate with culinary, AV, and other departments to maintain smooth operations. Supervise banquet servers, housemen, bartenders, and support staff throughout the event lifecycle. Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance feedback. Lead pre‑shift meetings to communicate event details, service expectations, and safety reminders. Guest & Client Relations Serve as the on‑site contact for meeting planners, wedding coordinators, and event hosts. Respond promptly to client requests and make real‑time adjustments as needed. Maintain a polished, professional presence throughout each event. Operational & Administrative Support Assist with inventory control, equipment management, and linen/ware usage. Support labor cost management, payroll, and scheduling. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Qualifications 1–3 years of banquet, event services, or hospitality leadership experience (hotel or resort preferred). A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment Refined verbal communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds) Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Proficient in basic computer skills Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments and outdoor venues.
