Vacation Sales (seasonal)

Reports To: Vacation Sales Manager

Summary: Perform outstanding guest service on a daily basis. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication while interacting with guests and resort staff.

Education and/or Experience: Previous hotel-related experience beneficial. Computer/data entry and math skills strongly preferred.

Essential Duties:

• Completes guest check-in/check-out procedures including walk-ins and settling accounts.
• Post charges to guest accounts and understands guest billing.
• Handles cash, checks, credit cards, and direct billing requests properly.
• Completes daily shift checklist.
• Creates and issues guest room keys.
• Monitors emails and guest messaging system.
• Creates and submits Alice tickets as needed.
• Is knowledgeable on resort and local area offerings.
• Operates POS system, runs daily reports and balances all transactions.
• Issues employee keys and banks, according to policies and procedures.
• Answers phone calls using Star Performance guidelines, and transfers to appropriate area.
• Assists during any emergencies and follows proper procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mailroom and lobby area.
• Promotes and supports positive working relationships and communications with all Guests, Co-Workers, and other departments.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18
• Must be able to pass Ruttger's background check.
• Lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
