Cybersecurity Engineer

Supporting the development of AI-enabled applications, the Cybersecurity and Governance Engineer will work on-site, hybrid, or remote to lead Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, implement Federal security requirements, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity governance standards. Key responsibilities Lead RMF lifecycle activities, including control selection, implementation, assessment, and authorization for Federal information systems Engineer and implement security controls across cloud and enterprise environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams Support continuous monitoring processes, track vulnerabilities, and manage security documentation and authorization artifacts Required qualifications Expertise in Federal cybersecurity governance and NIST 800-53 RMF processes Proven experience with FISMA, continuous monitoring, and security assessment and authorization (ATO) Strong skills in cloud security controls, including identity and access management and vulnerability management Master's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are highly desirable
