Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Float)

Four Winds Hospital is a premier provider of specialized inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescent and adults. We foster a collaborative, team-based environment where PMHNPs work alongside attending psychiatrists, social workers and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care. We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Float) for our Saratoga Springs campus. This role offers clinical variety and leadership opportunities while providing flexible cross-unit coverage, admission evaluations and ongoing psychiatric management for our patients. This position is 100% in-person, onsite at our Saratoga Springs campus. Position highlights: Hours: Monday - Friday (day shift) Rotation: Occasional Saturday rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and admission evaluations Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and oversee treatment plans Provide high-quality psychiatric cross-unit care for child, adolescent and adults Collaborate with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary treatment team 401k (employee funded) Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance at no cost to the employee Flexible spending plan Malpractice coverage and CME support Qualifications Current, active NYS license as a RN and PMHNP with prescriptive authority ANCC Board Certification as a PMHNP-BC is preferred 3+ years of PMHNP experience in an inpatient or acute setting is preferred Strong diagnostic, pharmacological and interpersonal communication skills Four Winds Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr FoxNext
