About the Role This position is a key member of the school’s Leadership Team and supports the School Leader and Assistant Principals by implementing and maintaining clear operational systems, building a data-driven, service-oriented culture, and enabling instructional leaders to focus on teaching and learning. Role Responsibilities Recruits, hires, onboards, develops and leads a high-performing team: Builds a strong and diverse team with an inclusive culture. Manages and develops others toward excellence with a focus on long-term development. Establishes regular cadence for collaboration, training, and support. Monitors execution of team responsibilities with high accountability. Creates and drives school-based strategies to ensure consistent attendance: Partners with families to set attendance expectations. Ensures accurate daily attendance capture and analyzes data to identify trends. Trains leadership teams on attendance procedures. Collaborates with recruitment and enrollment teams to grow enrollment. Oversees enrollment verification and documentation compliance. Plans cultivation efforts to keep families informed and invested. Designs and evolves school-based operations policies: Implements monitoring system for feedback. Completes safety drills, audits, and documentation on schedule. Ensures staff are trained on day-to-day and safety procedures. Maintains front office and family-facing systems. Communicates relevant information to families regularly. Informs and manages school budget partnership: Provides insight into non-personnel spending for budgeting. Uses district tools for purchasing and account management compliance. Partners with School Support Partners (SSP) to maintain safety and facilities: Serves as safety lead and emergency communication point. Ensures access to curriculum and technology. Collaborates with Facilities, Transportation, Child Nutrition, and IT to resolve issues. Qualifications 4-5 years of related work experience. Minimum 3 years experience in operations or education. Preferred experience in people management. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Competency and Skills Effective people manager energized by coaching others. Physical Requirements Must be able to move inside and outside school throughout the workday. Ability to maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Work Environment Reports to school site Monday–Friday. Typical school environment with frequent interruptions.
