Crean Lutheran High School - Irvine, CA 92618 Overview Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 hourly Position Type: Full Time High School Description Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Typically 7:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday. Education Required: High School Diploma; BA or BS preferred Years of Experience: 1 year of experience in informational technology and audio-video technician experience Travel: Some (Transporting equipment to venues for events) Start Date: July 2026 Reports to: Director of Technology (primary) The Technology Associate is responsible for assisting the Director of Technology with all aspects of technology at Crean Lutheran High School. Qualifications Role and Function: Maintain printers, including monitoring toner levels and solving day to day issues. Communicating with maintenance company and Technology team. Assist in Networking and computer tasks as needed; aid in technology projects on and off campus. Assist with events, on and off campus, that may include, but not limited to, planning, setup, run, teardown, and review. Assist in the operational planning and carrying out of performing arts events (Music, Dance, and Drama) that may include, but not limited to, A/V and recording/streaming. Assist in the preparation of the Event Center or MPR for Chapel (mics, mixer, sound system, projectors, lights, bleachers, air conditioning); take down afterward. Assist in the preparation and execution of A/V for Chapel and Praise Chapel on chapel computer. Assist students and staff with printing, A/V, and networking needs. Communicate clearly with students, staff, and supervisors. Skills and Abilities: PC and Mac hardware and software skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft and Apple software; strong knowledge of software and options related to audio and/or audio-video presentations; strong knowledge of technical, audio, video, and other hardware; Valid CA Drivers License. Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to duties. Certification in First Aid and CPR. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; bend with knees and be able to lift up to 75lbs. The employee must have the ability to read, prepare/process documents and to direct others as necessary in carrying out their duties. Work is performed primarily in an office and outdoor school environment, in all weather conditions, including temperature extremes, during day and night shifts and may be exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and more; regular contact with staff, parents, and students; with frequent interruptions. The noise level in the office and school campus environment can range from quiet to moderate.
