Software Engineer, Agent

Salary: $211,000 - 251,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, especially in fast-moving and uncertain environments.
• A hands-on builder mindset with strong initiative and a willingness to find creative ways to ship.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and address real-world challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be clear, direct, and persuasive with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Preferred: founder or founding engineer experience, with an understanding of balancing quality, ownership, and speed.
• Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Preferred: background in customer-facing roles or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are reliable, high-performing, intuitive, and central to our revenue growth.
• Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle, from initial pilot through deployment and ongoing refinement.
• Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in live production settings while helping define best practices for ADLC.
• Work directly with leaders at large enterprises to understand business challenges and create AI agents that improve operations at scale.
• Partner with innovative startups to embed AI agents across their business stack and accelerate innovation and efficiency.
• Use customer feedback to inform the evolution of our core platform.
• Identify unmet customer needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development.
• Contribute to example work such as churn-reduction agents, customer troubleshooting and recommendation agents, industry-specific frameworks, new agent architectures, self-service features, generative agent development, and large-scale voice model integration.
