Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 hour nights, every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• WI RN License
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC & NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required
• Epic charting experience required within the last year
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed
