A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE

As a Home Health Aide, senior clients rely on you to help them manage daily living tasks within their homes. You enjoy meeting with clients and providing cheerful companionship as you assist with various responsibilities. Help clients with laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Provide non‑medical care that preserves clients’ dignity. Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene. Offer care to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift, keeping the office updated on any changes to your clients’ care. You enjoy helping seniors and take pride in knowing your efforts as a dependable caregiver make a difference! Qualifications For a Home Health Aide We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications: Reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 2+ years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts. Willingness to be trained. Compassionate and able to provide elderly care and companionship. Positive attitude while helping with household tasks.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A HOME HEALTH AIDE

This position has flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24‑hour care.
