Our organization , a regional tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified level II trauma center, is currently in search of an additional board-certified or board-eligible full-time OB/GYN to join our thriving hospital-employed practice in a Hospitalist/Nocturnist capacity.

• Approximately twelve 14-hour night shifts, with opportunities for additional night or day shifts for extra pay.

• Collaborate with a team of 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 3 nurse practitioners, and dedicated support staff.

• Deliver routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic care to a patient base of around 500,000 individuals.

• During overnight shifts, the OB/GYN will manage triage, labor and delivery, antepartum care, patient transfers, and postpartum consultations, as well as emergency GYN surgeries.

• Access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultations via phone 24/7, along with on-site Anesthesia and NICU teams to support patient care. We also provide consultation services for the Family Medicine residency program and host rotating medical students.

• Our facility handles over 1,600 deliveries annually and supports a level III NICU. We serve as the referral center for two-thirds of Maine's geographical area, with many patients traveling over two hours to deliver at our hospital.

Our hospital has made a significant investment of $300 million in a new tower that opened in 2016. This modernization initiative included a complete redesign of our Women & Infants unit, featuring twenty-five private patient rooms, six new labor and delivery rooms, and two advanced obstetrics/gynecology surgical suites that enhance the level of care provided at our medical center.

• An annual base salary ranging from $404,625 to $414,625, with the potential to earn additional income based on productivity.
