The Sit Down Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe movement of materials within the warehouse. Operating primarily a sit-down forklift, this role involves handling loading, unloading, and inventory tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the operator will typically work night shifts and contribute to maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials and products accurately
• Handle inventory and ensure proper storage
• Comply with all safety regulations and protocols
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse as needed
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift operation experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Knowledge of forklift operation and material handling
• Experience with inventory control
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
