Team Leader Position at Chick-fil-A

At Chick-fil-A, team leaders are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that every restaurant customer has an exceptional experience. Team leaders are responsible for overseeing assigned stations throughout a shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager; following established opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring team members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
• Ensuring team members are precise with the weights and measures of all recipe items.
• Ensuring team members work at a pace to maintain the restaurant's established service speed guidelines.
• Ensuring work stations are clean at all times.
• Ensuring cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
• Executing proper safety procedures and cash handling and control, and holding cashiers accountable for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensuring team members oversee the cleanliness of the dining area, restroom, parking lot, and overall facility.
• Perform any of the above duties as needed during the shift.
• Addressing guest issues that may arise; consulting with management on complex issues.
• Maintaining a positive working relationship and treating all employees with respect while providing direction and feedback.
• Communicating employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
• Strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures.
