Overview

Group 1 Chevrolet Spring is actively seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (Flag/Flat-Rate) to join our high-performing Chevrolet dealership!

We're looking for skilled professionals who take pride in their work, are committed to delivering quality repairs, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Our technicians play a critical role in the customer experience, and we value individuals who are driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to being part of a team that supports both its customers and employees.

*Chevrolet-certified technicians are strongly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a flat-rate (flag) Chevrolet Technician with proven production and diagnostic ability
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred
• Manufacturer certifications are a strong plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
