Exercise Specialist – Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy
Location: Canyon Park, WA
Clinic: SPT – Canyon Park | Outpatient Orthopedic & Performance PT
SPT Canyon Park is a high‑energy outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic dedicated to helping active adults and athletes get back to the activities they love. Our open‑gym, movement‑focused environment emphasizes active rehab, progressive loading, and real‑world results—not passive, high‑volume care.

Job DescriptionSports Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic individual ready to work as an Exercise Specialis t in a fast-paced physical therapy clinic. This position is responsible for daily patient care and takes direction from a physical therapist(s) by performing treatment-related exercise programs and patient-related tasks as needed.
- Assist physical therapists with patient exercise programs and treatment‑related tasks
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming clinic experience
- Support patients through their rehab exercises with clear instruction and encouragement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and staff
- Help ensure patient flow and efficiency throughout the day
- Interest in or degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
- Prior experience in a medical or fitness setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to build rapport and motivate patients
