A non-profit corporation, Maniilaq Association represents twelve federally recognized tribes located in Northwest Alaska. Maniilaq manages health, tribal and social services for about 8,000 people within the Northwest Arctic Borough and the village of Point Hope. With approximately 550 in its workforce, Maniilaq Association is also the largest employer.\n 85% Native Alaskan Population\n \n Must Have Requirements:\n \n ALL OB positions are a mix of Inpatient (majority) and OB. This position will require previous Inpatient experience. It is not an option to only have OB experience.\n Current AK license - will not consider candidates w/out license in hand\n 2+ years recent OB / L&D experience required\n must be able to read advanced fetal monitoring strips for high risk birth\n Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring certification through an accredited source\n Must be willing to take behavioral health or stable medical patients on the acute care unit if not actively engaged in OB care\n Must have minimum 2 years previous travel RN Experience\n Must be a minimum contract length of 13 weeks with no requested time off\n must be open to floating to MS\n \n \n Things to Know:\n \n Personality is important! Must be flexible, adaptable, independent and really care about the community!\n Previous travel and cultural sensitivity\n Housing provided at no cost to traveler (dorm style housing standardly, though occasionally studio apartments open up)\n Flights covered at no cost to traveler\n OB is LDRP/float to inpatient services when no LDRP patients\n We cannot accommodate block scheduling.\n There is no current availability for pet friendly housing.\n Provided housing is shared spaces—so we can only accommodate the RN’s housing needs and no overnight visitors allowed in these units.\n ONLY a Main cabin or coach fare printed receipt will be reimbursable. Do not upgrade ticket until a printed receipt is in hand or it will not be reimbursed.\n No RTO.\n Active AK license in hand before interview.\n \n \n
