Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Selectek is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer for a senior role on a permanent basis. Our partnering company, located near St. Louis, MO , needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting distribution to oversee commercial projects.

Employment Type: Permanent Hire
Expected Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level
Location: Fenton, MO

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings
• AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit experience preferred
• Background in commercial structural projects-familiar with how electrical integrates into building frameworks
• Capable of managing design teams or leading segments of large projects
• Strong communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients and architects
• Motivated to grow into a leadership or project management role

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:
• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and building systems for commercial structures
• Collaborate closely with structural and architectural teams to deliver integrated design solutions
• Oversee and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Produce and review drawings and documentation using AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)
• Serve as the client-facing point of contact from design through project completion
• Mentor and lead engineering team members on assigned projects

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
