Coordinator 1 - Unit CTE Support (Multiple Positions)

Location Hattie Mae White Department CCMR Unit Support Area District Wide Contract Months 12 Salary Range $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 Academic Year 26-27 Job Summary This Coordinator 1 – Unit CTE Support supports a portfolio of campuses with executing on district CTE and CCMR strategy. The role works closely with a team of Coordinators and their assigned division support. Relevant activities include implementing program compliance systems, delivering district-wide trainings, supporting CTE curriculum execution, supporting scheduling and credential acquisition. Major Duties & Responsibilities Drive IBC outcomes by monitoring testing, supporting logistics, and ensuring assessments and interventions are executed. Maintain and validate data trackers weekly, analyze trends, and support campus action planning to close gaps; provide consistent, data-driven updates on progress, trends, and risks to inform next steps and escalation. Facilitate PLCs and district PD sessions focused on industry-aligned instruction, exemplars, and IBC rigor. Support curriculum implementation by ensuring alignment to TEKS, pacing guides, and IBC expectations. Partner with campus leaders and teachers to strengthen scheduling, implementation, and student outcomes. Coordinate operational needs including devices, testing readiness, field trips, work-based learning, and external business partnership initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree Work Experience 1‑3 years. Previous experience as a teacher, particularly in CTE, preferred. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading. Work Complexity / Independent Judgment Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis. Budget Authority No budget development activity is required. Problem Solving Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas. Impact of Decisions Decisions have minor, small and possibly incremental impact on the department or facility. Errors are usually discovered in succeeding operations where most of the work is verified or checked and is normally confined to a single department or phase of the organizational activities resulting in brief inconvenience. Communication / Interactions Collaborate and solve problems - works with others to resolve problems, clarify, or interpret complex information/policies, and provide initial screening/negotiations without approval authority. Interactions are typically with customers, senior level professional staff, and managers. Customer Relationships Leads others in the resolution of highly sensitive and confidential issues on behalf of the department. Acts as a trusted advisor and becomes involved in the customer's decision-making process including presenting alternatives and information and applying persuasion and negotiation skills in the resolution of problems. Monitors customer service standards. Working / Environmental Conditions Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
