Assembler - Semi Trailer

Assembler Position

Timpte is looking for Assemblers at our David City, NE Manufacturing Facility. We're looking for people to perform general assembly operations on sub-assemblies and trailers and operate various equipment as needed.

Compensation Range: Base pay starting at $21/hr, up to $24/hour depending on experience + monthly bonus for a possible total hourly rate up to 26.50/hr.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with possible overtime on Fridays. NO WEEKENDS!!

Job Responsibilities:

• Use of hand tools and power tools to drill, rivet, caulk, fasten and place parts and assemblies in jigs and fixtures
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition
• Operate fabrication equipment
• Quality inspect work from previous stations

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing experience helpful
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and trailer schedules
• Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes, and other equipment
• Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to learn job and be fully competent within 60 days
