Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

Special Requests: - Current employees: We cannot consider travelers employed (FT, PT, or per diem) by Cayuga Health or its affiliate, Schuyler Hospital, within the past 12 months. - We cannot guarantee block schedule but will try to accommodate when possible.

Unit Details: - This unit takes some medical patients, but primarily surgical patients. - Surgical patient population includes joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
