Job Description\n TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 10 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Unit Information: Med-Surg Cardiac Medical Unit (Dept 61506)\n Location: Catholic Medical Center\n Address: 100 McGregor St. 03102\n Floor: F200\n Building:\n General Information\n Tell us about the unit(s):\n Number of Beds –23 with 1 treatment room\n Number of Staff – 58\n Type of staff:\n o Day Shift – (CNC/Charge Nurse, 6 RNs, 2 PCT, 1 MT, and 1 Dept Co till 7pm)\n o Night Shift - (CNC/Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 2 PCT, 1 MT)\n Patient Ratios – Days/Eves RNs (1-4) Nights (1-5)\n Type of equipment – Telemetry monitoring with some rooms hard-wired; vein finder for IV therapy, portable pulse oximetry, as well as, continuous oximetry, manual/automatic vital sign machine capabilities, blood glucose, mechanical lifts, dopplers, etc..\n EMR –Allscrilpts, medication scanning capabilities, soft-lab\n Patient Population - Cardiac Medical patient population: Hemodynamically stable MI, acute/chronic HF, new onset Afib with or without RVR, stable dysrhythmias, procedural patients: Cardiac caths (radial or femoral) without interventions, Ablations, Cardioversions, ICD, Pacers, medication loads, Cardio MEMs, peridcardial drains, as well as, patient's requiring cardiac gtts (Amio, Dilt, Dopa renal dose, Dobutamine, Milirone, Lasix up to 40mg, insulin drips). Additional patient populations include ICU transfers, neuro patients (CVA), pulmonary patient's requiring Bipap, Hi-flow and Salter.\n Typical hiring profile\n Skill Set Most recruited for:\n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n Cardiac Telemetry knowledge\n ACLS\n Knowledge/skill set for Cardiac medical, procedural patients (caths), and cardiac drips\n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n Cardiac telemetry skill set\n Strong Medical-Surgical knowledge/background with telemetry\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s):\n Cardiac caths (Left/Right, femoral/radial approach) without intervention\n Pacers, ablations, cardioversions, EP studies\n Caridac drips: Amio, diltiazem, renal dose dopa, dobutamine, milirone, Lasix, and insulin drips.\n Best personality Fit:\n Engaging, team oriented, flexible/adaptable, and patient centered.\n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:\n ACLS\n Floating Area(s):\n Floating within alike areas\n Dress Code:\n Scrub Color/Attire - hospital scrubs\n Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.\n Weekends and On-call (if any)\n Every other weekend\n #TB_RN\n #ZRHC\n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID #26-23856.
