Porter – Madera Toyota Chevrolet
Position Summary:
The Porter is a vital support role within the dealership, responsible for ensuring vehicles and the dealership facilities are maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner. This position directly supports the Sales, Service, and Detail Departments by keeping inventory and customer vehicles ready, safe, and presentable.
Key ResponsibilitiesMove vehicles safely around the dealership lot, service drive, and between departments.
Maintain cleanliness of dealership property, including parking lots, service drive, and common areas.
Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for delivery to customers.
Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out for service appointments.
Perform light facility maintenance such as trash removal and lot organization.
Help maintain an orderly display of new and pre-owned inventory.
Deliver vehicles, parts, or documents as requested by management.
Support Sales and Service staff with tasks such as staging vehicles for customers.
Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission (preferred).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods of time.
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Hourly pay, based on experience.
Eligible for dealership employee benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement).
