Human Resources Director Village Green | Greenville, Ohio Village Green is seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Director to join our leadership team! Position Summary The Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day human resources functions within the facility. This role will work closely with facility and corporate leadership to support employees, ensure compliance, strengthen recruitment and retention efforts, and promote a positive and professional work environment. Responsibilities Lead the facility's recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes Maintain employee personnel files and ensure required documentation is complete and current Coordinate orientation and new-hire training Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives Serve as a resource for employees and department leaders regarding HR policies and workplace concerns Assist with employee relations, coaching, corrective action, and performance management Monitor attendance and assist with related reporting and follow-up Coordinate employee benefit information, leave requests, and other HR-related processes Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations Partner with facility leadership and corporate support teams on HR initiatives Help foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented workplace culture Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment compliance Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems preferred Why Join Village Green?
