Investigative Solutions Technology Specialist

Overview Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks an Investigative Solutions Technology Specialist to support federal government customers and partners with public records data solutions. The role operates in both pre‑ and post‑sales contexts, ensuring the successful integration of TRSS content into client systems. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Managing Director, Account Managers, and Product Specialists to design and deliver customer‑specific technology training aligned with business goals. Collect and analyze client requirements to develop customized solutions that embed TRSS public records content into customer or partner workflows. Provide primary technical and data consultancy to customers and partners across multiple accounts. Design, implement, and support batch workflow solutions that access TRSS public records data for government clients. Contribute market and customer input to business cases for customized solutions. Offer strategic technical insights to company leadership, technology, and product development teams. Assist with compliance management of customer and partner solutions from pricing, technical, and legal perspectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (equivalent experience considered). Minimum five years of experience with public records or open‑source data, preferably within the Thomson Reuters ecosystem. Proven experience supporting technical solutions for multiple government and commercial clients concurrently. Prior technical sales support experience, including pre‑sales demonstrations and post‑sales project work. Knowledge of federated search, workflow/portal technologies, network infrastructure, and common communication protocols. Strong communication and presentation skills; prior presentation experience required. Experience with consulting or project management is a plus. Ability to articulate and support architectural design of solutions involving public records data. Experience serving as the primary technical point of contact for external customers and partners. Demonstrated ability to build relationships across senior management, technical staff, and non‑technical personnel. U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance necessary. Compensation & Benefits Eligible office locations: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. Base pay range: $85,500 – $158,700 USD, adjusted based on experience and location. Possible annual bonus based on performance.
