PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient in Philadelphia, MS .

We currently have a Part-Time opportunity with a predictable rotating weekday schedule , providing consistent daytime hours while allowing you to know your schedule in advance.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Philadelphia, MS
Position Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available: Monday–Friday Day Shifts

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Week 1:

• Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–4:00 PM

Week 2:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Schedule rotates between Week 1 and Week 2.

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

Clinical needs include:

• Oxygen administration and respiratory monitoring

• G-tube feedings and care

• Medication administration

• Suctioning and airway management

• Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift , allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

• Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

• Monitor respiratory status and administer oxygen as ordered

• Perform suctioning and airway management as ordered and clinically indicated

• Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

• Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

• Current BLS certification

• Current TB screening within the past 12 months

• Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Pediatric, private duty, G-tube, oxygen, or airway management experience is a plus
