Insurance AR Specialist

Job Summary


Our client is looking for an Insurance Specialist who will be responsible for managing accounts, resolving past-due balances, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. This role requires handling inquiries, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of patient and guarantor information.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify problem accounts and resolve past-due issues with payors.
• Research inquiries on past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
• Resolve delinquent accounts and direct to collections if necessary.
• Prepare and analyze reports to address accounts receivable issues.
• Handle data entry, verification, and mathematical computations.
• Compose routine correspondence and handle documentation.
• Communicate with insurance carriers for required documentation.
• Process account receivable reports and manage mail.
• Provide outstanding customer service and team support.
• Train new and existing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Insurance and Patient Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of dental and medical insurance.
• Dental experience is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

M-F 8am-5pm Onsite
