NOW HIRING: Behavioral Health Care Coordinator | Onsite Location: Onsite in Alameda, CA Pay Range: $43.51 - $52.21/hour (based on experience) Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to support members with behavioral health and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services. This role helps coordinate care, manage authorizations, support providers and members, and ensure patients receive timely access to mental health services and resources. This is a great opportunity for someone with healthcare, managed care, behavioral health, care coordination, or utilization management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Help coordinate behavioral health and ABA services for members Process and monitor authorizations for behavioral health services Work closely with nurses, clinicians, providers, hospitals, and member services teams Assist members with accessing care, understanding benefits, and navigating services Support care coordination efforts for members with behavioral health needs Manage incoming behavioral health calls and respond to provider/member inquiries Review reports and monitor authorization turnaround times to ensure compliance Collaborate with community agencies, providers, and internal departments Help resolve issues related to claims, authorizations, eligibility, and appeals Provide administrative and data entry support using multiple systems Participate in audits, reporting, and departmental meetings Educate providers and staff on care management and referral processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required Degree in Health Services or related field preferred At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, managed care, or a related setting preferred Experience with case management/care coordination, utilization management, or authorizations is a plus Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, compassionate, and able to navigate complex member situations while maintaining excellent customer service and attention to detail.
