PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Wood Framers for a commercial construction project in Jacksonville, FL!  Candidates should be comfortable working from construction plans and using hand and power tools to complete framing work safely and efficiently.

PAY RATE : $25 - $30/hr (based on experience) 

Responsibilities

• Perform wood framing on a commercial construction project
• Frame walls, partitions, openings, and other structural/non-structural components
• Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and layout drawings
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform layout and ensure framing is plumb, level, and square
• Assist with installation of sheathing and other related carpentry materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all project safety requirements and jobsite procedures
• Perform other carpentry and framing duties as assigned

• Previous commercial wood framing experience required
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and measurements
• Proficient with common hand and power tools
• Ability to work safely on an active commercial construction site
• Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
• Own tools and reliable transportation 
• OSHA 10 or other safety training is a plus
