The position is in a specialized environment catering to cardiovascular operating room procedures.Unit Specifics\n \n Number of Beds: 2\n Patient Ratios: 1:1\n Unit Staffing Description: Board runner, charge nurse, service line coordinators, and ancillary assistance for room turnovers.\n Type of Equipment: Belmont, ESU, and positioning equipment.\n Documentation System: Meditech Expanse.\n Scheduling Requirements:\n \n RN: 7 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Thursday)\n RN: 7 AM - 3 PM (Monday - Friday)\n CST: 7 AM - 4 PM (Monday - Thursday)\n CST: 7 AM - 3 PM (Monday - Friday)\n \n Floating Policy: May float to main operating rooms.\n Patient Experience Requirements\n Direct patient contact is essential, requiring excellent communication skills, strong provider relations, and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.Qualifications\n \n Requested Skill Set:\n \n Forward-thinking with the ability to proactively plan for potential issues.\n Strong teamwork oriented.\n \n Must Have:\n \n Experience with scrub and circulate procedures.\n Proficiency in room setup and turnover.\n Ability to obtain disposables and instrument sets as needed.\n \n Advanced Skills Needed:\n \n Sterile technique.\n Central line setup.\n Art line setup.\n Belmont setup and operation.\n Cell saver setup.\n \n Procedures Performed: Open heart procedures including CABGs, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures.\n Certifications Required: CNOR certification is preferred.\n Dress Code\n Scrubs will be provided.Awards and Recognition\n Details regarding outstanding departmental awards or recognition can enhance the appeal of this position.
