Job Summary The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team responsible for executing on the store product strategy, including product operations and inventory management. They lead inventory shifts, oversee all back of house (BOH) product operations, and ensure both the floor and BOH are stocked and well‑organized. They also provide input to team member performance evaluations, support hiring decisions, act as Supervisor on Duty, and deliver a world‑class guest experience when scheduled to work on the floor. Core Responsibilities of the Job Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life. Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure execution of product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing. Engage team members in inventory management by creating a fun and productive atmosphere for the shift. Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell‑through strategy and optimal product availability for the guest. Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, e.g., analyzing sell‑through data to provide recommendations to store leadership regarding product focus or pricing. Participate in the store’s hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training. Address team member performance and support ongoing learning and development through direct feedback, coaching, demonstrations, and hands‑on experiences. Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships. When serving as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, lead from the floor to ensure every guest receives technical product education and a world‑class experience. Job Requirements Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located. Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation methods. Schedule / Availability Work schedule can vary based on store needs. Typical shifts: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. May include early mornings or late nights/overnights during peak times, special events, or other circumstances. Experience 1 year of work experience. Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including use of business technology. Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others. Job Assets (Nice to have) Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent or higher. Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations related to reviewing and interpreting business reports to inform action. For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: Food safety and/or liquor service certification. Work Context Work involves moving through the store, sometimes in the front with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in the back with no windows or natural light. Work is accomplished as part of a team, sometimes independently, and sometimes using a computer or other technical devices. May occasionally involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lb (13.6 kg) or using ladders to reach materials. For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat while preparing food or beverages. Compensation & Benefits Package Base pay range: $22.50 – $25.89 per hour (subject to minimum wage). Target bonus: $2.00 per hour. Total target base pay range: $24.50 – $27.89 per hour.
