About the Role :

The Pharmacy Technician-Retail at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland works under the lead supervision of a Pharmacist to provide services to Pharmacy customers. The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care.

Responsibilities :

• Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate.
• Collect/enter appropriate method of payment from patrons for prescriptions, OTCs and non-pharmaceutical products purchased.
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Answers telephones, responding to questions or requests.

Qualifications :

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
• MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS PHARMACY TECH preferred
• Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technicians required. MUST BE BOTH REGISTERED AND CERTIFIED WITH MARYLAND BOARD OF PHARMACY.
• PTCB preferred or equivalent state program

Pay Range: $20.06 to $30.09 Based On Experience
