Child Care Center Director

Future Opening: Child Care Center Director Compensation: $40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year We are entering our second year of operation and are looking for a Center Director who is energized, passionate, and excited to help our school grow. This role is perfect for someone who loves children, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is motivated by building enrollment and creating strong relationships with families and staff. We need someone confident with people, strong in customer service, and willing to think outside the box to attract new families and retain the ones we have. What We’re Looking For Someone who loves kids and brings energy, passion, and positivity every day. A leader who can think creatively and take initiative to help the center grow. Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build trust with families. Confident in giving tours, following up with leads, and connecting with the community to increase enrollment. Skilled at hiring, coaching, and supporting teachers. Able to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities. Committed to meeting the goals and performance expectations set by ownership. Able to maintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative relationship with ownership and management. Role Responsibilities Lead daily center operations and maintain licensing compliance. Drive enrollment growth through tours, follow‑ups, community outreach, and creative marketing ideas. Build and retain strong relationships with families to increase satisfaction and loyalty. Recruit, hire, coach, and motivate teachers to maintain a positive and productive team. Support classrooms to ensure curriculum quality and a strong learning environment. Manage staff schedules, ratios, and documentation. Maintain accurate student/staff records, incident reports, and safety procedures. Partner with ownership to set goals and track growth. Qualifications 1–3 years of childcare leadership or management preferred. Experience in childcare enrollment, customer service, or community outreach is a plus. Background working with infants through preschool‑age children. Knowledge of Texas childcare licensing rules required. Must meet Texas Director qualifications. CPR/First Aid preferred. Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field preferred but not required if other requirements are met.
