They will be a key interface with many other business groups including Sales, Supply Chain, IT, Warehouse Operations, and other groups within Finance. The Analyst will participate in on-going process improvement efforts and special projects designed to enhance our capabilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe AR analyst will lead/ support all activity related to assigned portfolio listed below but not limited to:Monitoring and management of customer aging and cash application; provide weekly cash forecast.Research and resolution of customer deductions such as trade allowances, shortages, pricing, fines, and other payment deductionsWeekly/Monthly reporting related to assigned portfolio.Preparation and analysis of required month end closing reports such as reserve analysis; aging review; financial consolidation reportingCreate and maintain account specific process documentation Special projects and audit response pertaining to assigned portfolio as requiredSupport ongoing process improvements for the overall AR function.RequirementsSoft skills:Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills and commitment to quality, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.Organized, flexible, self-starter with ability to take leadership initiative; strong drive and follow through.Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees in a professional and positive mannerStrong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsTechnical Skills/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance or AccountingFinancial Analysis experience preferred.Operations/warehouse experience is a plus, especially Order to Cash cycleStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook requiredSAP experience preferredSummaryLocation: Anderson, SCType: Full time
