Role Description This contract Speech Language Pathologist role is a hybrid position based between both Orland Park and Hinsdale, IL, coinic locations with some mornings also seen off site at Action Behavior Center. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to children with speech, language, and communication needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering individual or co-tx sessions, documenting progress, updating therapy goals, and communicating regularly with families and caregivers. The role also involves collaborating with other pediatric therapists and educational professionals, providing caregiver training, and ensuring services are aligned with family-centered goals and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech, with experience delivering pediatric interventions. Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in children. Candidates should possess knowledge and clinical skills related to Dysphagia management in pediatric populations, where applicable. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois and ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility to obtain certification. Experience working with children and families in clinical, school, or early intervention settings. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both onsite and remotely.
