WorldViz builds room-scale VR and projection labs used by researchers at places like Stanford, Yale, and UCSB, and by Fortune 500 companies around the world. Your job is to make those systems real. You'll assemble and test each one at our Santa Barbara shop, then fly to the customer site to mount projectors, pull cable, align multi-projector walls, chase down the last network gremlin, and train the people who'll use it. You leave when it works and they can run it without you.

We'll teach you VR (no programming experience required). We can't teach methodical troubleshooting, comfort on a ladder, or the itch to finish a job properly. If you've built gaming rigs, rigged stages, installed home theater, done handyman work, or fixed complex things for a living or for fun, that's the background we want. No degree required. Expect up to three multi-day trips a month, domestic and international, all expenses covered.

The role is on-site in Santa Barbara (no relocation assistance) and pays $48k to $65k depending on experience. It's also a role people grow out of upward: WorldViz techs have moved into senior technical, project management, and development positions.
