About the Role:

The Opiate Track Counselor plays a critical role in supporting individuals recovering from opiate addiction by providing specialized counseling and guidance tailored to their unique needs. This position involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote long-term recovery and prevent relapse. The counselor collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care. Through empathetic communication and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, the counselor helps clients build coping strategies and life skills essential for sustained sobriety. Ultimately, the role aims to empower clients to achieve improved health, well-being, and reintegration into their communities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Certification or licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor or equivalent credential recognized in the United States.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals affected by opiate addiction or substance use disorders.
• Strong understanding of addiction treatment modalities and recovery principles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in counseling.
