Human Resource Generalist

YOUR IMPACT

You will take ownership of delivering a seamless and efficient HR experience for colleagues, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the Firm's policies and processes.

You will manage key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and compliance with ERGANI declarations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, immigration, payroll, talent, and professional development to achieve strategic business goals. Your responsibilities will include coordinating payroll activities (e.g., preparing payroll inputs, auditing payroll files, and reconciling data across systems), managing HR data and documents with a focus on data integrity, and supporting immigration and mobility processes. Additionally, you will act as a trusted resource for colleagues, answering HR-related questions, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring equitable and consistent care through programs like colleague well-being initiatives and employee relations. You will also contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and learning and development operations.

Your work will help create a positive and efficient HR experience for colleagues, enabling them to thrive in their roles while ensuring the firm operates in compliance with legal and policy requirements.

You will be based in Athens as part of our Human Resources team. Your team plays a critical role in supporting the firm's people strategy, ensuring that colleagues are cared for and that HR processes align with the firm's mission to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 4+ years of professional experience in HR and Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Good understanding of the range of HR service lines, employee relations, and colleague life cycle events
• Understanding of local labor context and internal policy considerations and willingness to expand knowledge
• Very good knowledge of payroll processes and financial concepts related to compensation, taxation, and reporting
• Excellent knowledge of ERGANI and willingness to quickly learn new HR/People systems
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to manage ambiguity with an open mind and positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of people in a fair and consistent manner
• Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including ability to manage, analyze, and reconcile data across multiple sources
• Evidence of sound judgment, professionalism, maturity, trustworthiness
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Greek languages, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
