Join Our Dynamic ER Team as an Emergency Room RN Job Description: - Unit: Emergency Room (ER) - Location: San Antonio, TX - Shift: 7P - 7:30A - Assignment Length: 13 Weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend - Call Requirements: Yes Requirements: - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience - Certifications: - PALS or ENPC - ACLS - BLS - TNCC - NIHSS REQUIRED - Preferred Certifications: - CEN - Skills: - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Meditech experience preferred Specialty/Unit Certification Required: - ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE (Temporary License not accepted) Key Responsibilities: - Engage in a variety of procedures including: - Conscious Sedation - Participate in Intubations - Behavioral Health Watch - Sepsis Management - Stroke (Tpa administration) - Chest pain (Heart Alerts) Dress Code: - Scrub Color: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only) - Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, clean, no chipped nail polish, nails must not exceed ¼ inch - Hair: Must be off shoulders, natural color - Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible - Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited Unit Guidelines/Policies: - Floating Guidelines - Attendance Policies Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
