Dental Assistant

Location BridgeMill Dentistry is an established dental practice located in Canton, GA at 3682 Sixes Road. The office serves families in and around Cherokee County and has 3 doctors. Position Summary The ideal candidate for our office will have 3 years’ experience as a dental assistant, EFDA certification, temporary crown making, packing cord. The candidate should work well with a team, multitask easily, and be friendly with patients. Responsibilities Assist the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist. Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures. Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures. Assume responsibilities associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist. Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when needed. Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory. Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments. Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment. Take digital radiographs. Compensation Compensation based on experience (26‑28 per hour). Full‑time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, and time off. Schedule Monday through Thursday 7:30 am–5:00 pm, one hour lunch break. Occasional Friday 7:30 am–1:00 pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dr. Blankenship
