Role Description The Information Technology Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Piketon, OH. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networks, and user devices, including diagnosing and resolving system issues in a timely manner. The technician will install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and applications, while ensuring systems are secure, updated, and compliant with company standards. The role includes responding to support tickets, assisting team members in person and by phone, and documenting incidents, resolutions, and procedures. The technician will also support user training on basic IT tools and best practices, collaborate with other IT staff and vendors, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT operations that support construction project teams and office staff. Qualifications Strong Information Technology fundamentals, including familiarity with operating systems, networks, and standard business software. Proficient Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving problems. Experience providing Technical Support, including handling support requests, documenting solutions, and following established IT procedures. Customer Service skills to assist users patiently and professionally, with the ability to communicate technical information in clear, accessible language. Ability to deliver user Training on basic IT practices, tools, and security awareness, in both one-on-one and small group settings. Relevant education or certification (e.g., associate degree in IT or related field, CompTIA A+ or similar) is preferred. Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and reliability in an on-site environment. Willingness to learn industry-specific systems and support technology used in construction, engineering, and fabrication operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
