Civil/Environmental Engineer

Your Impact We’re looking for a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support innovative waste solutions and related projects. This role involves leading the design and engineering of solid waste, remediation, and sustainability initiatives for public and private clients across Florida and California. Responsibilities Support and deliver projects through design, engineering, site investigation, and monitoring. Design landfill and remediation liners, ET covers, dredge prisms, closure caps, compost facilities, transfer stations, MRFs, and related features. Lead design tasks, delegate to and collaborate with engineers at all levels, and mentor junior practitioners. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, pursue business development through proposals and networking. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering or a related field. Experience conducting field investigations and preparing reports. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and travel to client sites. Professional report writing skills (engineering design reports, stormwater reports, and/or specifications). Preferred: Master’s degree, Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration or willingness to obtain licensure. Experience with site civil design and 3‑D modeling (roadways, grading, drainage/stormwater). Experience working with diverse, remote teams. Knowledge of transfer stations, composting, waste collection and processing, sustainable waste management, and waste‑to‑energy technologies. Project management experience, including proposal and business development. Familiarity with project and account management tools (pricing tools, project tracking tools, customer account relationship tools). Base salary range: $79,900.00 to $110,000.00, adjusted by location, experience, and skills.
